H4IIE cells were co-transfected with 8.5 μg/dish of the reporter gene plasmid G6Pase(−1227/+57) and 0.5 μg/dish of the pRL control plasmid together with the indicated amount of DNA per dish of either pRSV-NFκB (▪) or pRSV-βgal (□) in the presence of Bt₂cAMP (500 μM) and dexamethasone (100 nM). Data are presented as means±S.E.M. (n=3) relative to the luciferase activity in the presence of pRSV-βgal, which was set as 100; *P<0.05 compared with expression in the presence of pRSV-βgal.
