Numbers on the right refer to the last amino acid residue on each line of the respective protein sequences. Numbers on the left refer to the first residue on each line of the respective nucleotide sequences. (B) In vitro translation of SCPx. Lane 1, no template; lane 2, DNA. The fragment containing the open reading frame of SCPx was used as template.
