Influence of the pH of the incubation medium on the uptake of [³H]adenosine, mediated by AtENT1, 3, 4, 6 and 7. After induction, yeast cells were harvested, washed and resuspended in 5 mM NaPO₄ (pH 6.0) and put on ice until uptake was initiated. The incubation medium consisted of 100 mM NaPO₄ at various pH values. [³H]Adenosine was provided at a concentration of 2 μM and cells were incubated for 2 min. Results are means±S.E.M.
