(A) Nucleotide sequence and conceptually translated amino acid sequence of a 5′ RACE product. The sequence of 245 bp on the 3′ side [from Cys⁶⁹⁸ (arrow) to Gly⁹⁴²] overlaps with the previously reported DD4 sequence. The potential signal peptide (Met¹-Gly¹⁶) is underlined, and the R–R-like sequence (Gly⁴¹-Ala⁷⁵) in bold letters is bracketed. The E-rich region (Glu⁸⁹-Gly²⁰⁹) is in shaded boxes, and a part of the P-rich region is in open boxes.
