Experiments were carried out in 25 mM Hepes/150 mM NaCl/1 mM TPP at pH 7.20 and 25 °C. For human AOs, the activity measurements were carried out at 37 °C as described by Holt et al. [49]. All measurements were carried out at [S]≪Km for various enzyme/substrate systems.
