Histopathological examination of the liver biopsy specimen revealed sinusoidal denudation, sinusoidal dilatation, and hemorrhage. Additionally, there was evidence of zone 3 (centrilobular) fibrosis and occlusion of the central vein. The liver tissue exhibited a characteristic sinusoidal and endothelial cell injury pattern.
