Increasing amounts of TraA (A and C) or TraAN₂₄₆ (B and D) were incubated with 0.5 nM DNA at 42 °C for 30 min and then loaded on to a 10% (w/v) native polyacrylamide gel. The EMSAs were performed with the 42-mer oligonucleotide (A and B) and the hairpin_nic oligonucleotide (C and D).
