Determination of sub-toxic concentrations of the Skeletonema marinoi ethanol extract at dark in sebocytes. The SEBO662AR human sebocyte cell line was cultured and exposed for 7 days to increasing concentrations of Skm extract in the absence of light. This initial step aimed to identify sub-toxic concentrations for subsequent lipogenesis inhibition assessment. Results indicate the absence of cytotoxicity on sebocytes within the 0.1–10 µg·mL⁻¹ concentration range. Cell viability was measured using the WST-8 assay. All experiments were performed in triplicate.
