Table 6.

Quantification of mean pigment content in the biomass of four strains of Skeletonema marinoi grown in triplicate under homogenous controlled conditions in the phenotyping bench, expressed as milligrams per gram of dried biomass. A fast extraction method was used to analyze the pigments as close as possible to the effective content of the living cell (see Section 4.3.2). Pigment analysis was conducted using the HPLC-UV/DAD Van Heukelem reference dereplication method.
