Growth conditions of composite scintillators and the relative LY of SCF parts of composite scintillators, under α-particle excitation by a 239Pu (5.15 MeV) source and measured with a shaping time of 12 μs, in comparison with the reference YAG:Ce SCF sample (100%) with a photoelectron LY of 360 ph/MeV (a LY of 2600 ph/MeV). * Relative LY of the upper SCF part of the composite scintillators.
