In the lower image, the right hemisphere extension of the sulcus that separates lobule crus II from lobule VIIb in the left hemisphere has been highlighted in red. This highlights the substantial lateral asymmetry that would arise by keeping strictly to the paradigm of letting sulci demarcate all lobule boundaries.
