Workflow for expression of recombinant VDAC1 in E. coli
Expression starts with inoculation of an “overnight culture” with a single colony of E. coli carrying a 6xHis-mVDAC1 or 6xHis-hVDAC1 expression plasmid. After induction with IPTG, cells are harvested and can be stored at −20°C.
