D4Z4, PEG3, and GTL2 methylation in 109 GV oocytes, determined using multiplex PCR and BPS. A considerable number of oocytes show abnormal methylation imprints, i.e., in oocyte no. 32, GTL2 is >95% hypermethylated, and in oocytes 34 and 35, PEG3 is <2.5% hypomethylated.
