HepG2 cells were transfected with the reporter construct GI-prom-1 and either 150 ng pcDNA3-mNrf2 or 150 ng pcDNA3-mKeap1 and mutually transfected with increasing amounts of Keap1 or Nrf2 expression plasmid, respectively. Empty pcDNA3 was used to equalize the amount of cotransfected expression plasmid. Relative luciferase activity in cells transfected with GI-prom-1 and pcDNA3 was set as 1.
