The bar chart in the lower left corner shows the frequency of Aβ (red) and tau-tangles (green) positivity in each of the different regions. Connected dots on the x-axis indicate the most frequent combinations of regions in which tau-tangles was observed. The bar plot shows the frequencies of the combinations of regions in the participants with dementia (yellow) and without dementia (blue), ordered by their frequency. The height of each bar corresponds to the number of participants with the varied regional combinations of Aβ and tau-tangles positivity.
