K-bZIP is the predominant isoform expressed from the K8 region in PEL cells. For lanes 1 to 4, protein products were generated by coupled in vitro transcription and translation from the empty pcDNA3.1 vector, pcDNA3.1-K-bZIP, pcDNA3.1-K-bZIPΔZIP, and pcDNA3.1-K8, respectively. Samples were examined by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting with anti-K-bZIP antibody (A) or anti-K8 antibody (B). For lanes 5 to 13, extracts from the indicated B-cell lines either before or after induction with TPA were examined by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting with anti-K-bZIP (A) or anti-K8 (B) antibody.
