Lacrimal inflammation is heightened in male NOD.B10 mice and Tlr7 protects against inflammation in female and male SMG tissue. SMG and lacrimal tissues were harvested from NOD.B10 (n = 9), NOD.B10^Tlr7+/− (n = 8), and NOD.B10^Tlr7−/− (n = 10) females.
