Genes shown by pink and gray are conserved specifically in the species carrying the isrBHDK (nflBHDK) genes in the genome profiling analysis (Table S3) and show high values (>100) of the Ise/Sul ratio (Table 1). Genes shown by pink are the minimal set that conferred isethionate-dependent growth ability to R. sphaeroides (Table 2).
