Grayscale heatmaps show 270- to 290-nm luminescence intensity in counts, and white ellipses in all maps outline areas with major 270- to 290-nm luminescence. The last four columns show PIXL SiO2 wt %, K2O wt %, Al2O3 wt %, and FeOT wt % maps. Blue crosses in SiO2 wt % PIXL maps signify that SiO2 contents are below the given threshold values of 44 wt % and 50 wt %. Nearly all pixels that exhibit 270- to 290-nm luminescence occur within Si-rich phases (SiO2 > 75 wt %) and K- and Si-rich phases (SiO2 > 50 wt %, K2O > 3 wt %). Ovals highlight the location of the 270- to 290-nm luminescence in all images, luminescence maps, and element maps.
