Soluble JAML binds to TJs in human colonic mucosa. As detailed in Figure 3, frozen sections of normal human colonic mucosa were gently permeabilized with 0.03% Triton X-100, blocked, and incubated with JAML-Fc (10 μg/ml, A) or Fc only (10 μg/ml, C) followed by fixation and incubation with Alexa Fluo 488–conjugated goat anti-rabbit Fc.
