PMN specifically adhere to immobilized CAR. As detailed in Materials and Methods, 24-well nontissue culture plates were coated with CAR-GST, JAML-GST, and GST alone, respectively. After blocking with BSA, PMN (5 × 105) were added to wells and allowed to adhere for 30 min at 37°C. Adhesion was also tested in the presence of anti-JAML or control serum.
