Fluid attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) MRI brain from initial hospitalization showed an area of hyperintensity within the right cerebellar hemisphere (straight arrow) on axial imaging (A), causing mass effect on the fourth ventricle. Associated hydrocephalus (curved arrow) was appreciated on coronal imaging (B). Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) was negative for diffusion restriction (C).
