Red- and yellow-colored regions identify NH2-extensions of atp6 and cox1, respectively. Names of the NH2-extensions are shown near the colored boxes. orf129 is unique to E-type mitochondria, and no homologous sequences are found from other mitochondria. A scale bar is shown in the lower right corner.
