Z(S186T) binds almost exclusively to the methylated form of the Rp ZRE-2 site. Increasing amounts of methylated versus unmethylated ZRE-2 cold competitor oligoprobe were used to compete binding of Z(S186T) to a methylated ³²P-labeled ZRE-2 probe.
