A total of 7 out of 10 described HCV proteins were identified by a minimum of two peptides, and all detections were localized to the microsomal fraction of the Huh-7.5 HCV replicon-positive sample. The recently characterized HCV F protein originates from a frameshift sequence and was not included in the database for the initial search.
