Effect of Cys-to-Ser mutations on HXB2 viral replication. 293T cells were transfected with the WT or each of the mutant pHXB2RU3 proviruses, and cell-free culture supernatants containing equal amounts of RT activity were used to challenge CEM-SS (A) and PM1 (B) cells.
