Effects of N-linked or O-linked inhibitors on AAV binding. Amount of virus bound to treated or untreated target cells was determined using quantitative PCR. Following treatment with the inhibitor at the indicated concentration, target cells were cooled on ice and then incubated with virus at an MOI of 1,000 particles/cell. Unbound virus was washed off and the amount of bound virus was quantified using PCR primers specific for the recombinant vector.
