Abundance of RNAP II and GTFs in mock-infected and HSV-1-infected cells. Whole-cell lysates were prepared from mock-infected cells or cells infected with wild-type virus for the times indicated. Samples representing equal numbers of cells were analyzed by immunoblotting, and blots were probed with antibodies that recognize subunits of the factors indicated.
