For the MMN intervention arms during pregnancy and lactation, we will use the UNIMMAP formulation 28 .
For infants in the MMN intervention arm, we will use the same 15 micronutrients as in UNIMMAP, but at levels appropriate for this age group 31 .
For the neuro-nutrient arm, we will use the same preparation as the infant MMN arms, but at twice the dose and with the addition of choline (a nutrient essential for infant brain development known to be insufficient in this population) 32 . These levels are below the maximum level for young infants, according to both EFSA 33 and the Codex Alimentarius of the FAO 31 .
