Each strain has a different profile of identified metabolites, including antioxidants such as 15,9′-dicis-phytofluene by-product and antimicrobials including Aurachin by-product and Neomethymicin or 10-Deoxymetinolide by product (Table 5). The LB8 strain produces siderophores and molecules associated with radiation response, critical for survival in their natural environment in a high-altitude hydrothermal system in the Altiplano (Supplementary Table S3). MINE code corresponds to the KEGG codification.
