• Women visiting the antenatal care/family planning units of the study centers	• Pregnancy-related complications: Placenta praevia Severe preeclampsia Vaginal bleeding Contractions Premature rupture of membranes
• Age 18–45 years
• Able to understand the study
• Consent given
• Completion of the study procedures	• Multiple abortions in the past
