Interventions |
Participants were randomly assigned to two groups.

Participants in the day‐surgery group were admitted to the outpatient surgery department in the morning on the day of surgery and laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) was performed before 11:00 a.m. Participants were discharged when they were able to meet standard discharge criteria (adequate pain control: visual analogue scores (VAS) < 4), able to walk, and able to void and tolerate oral liquids. |
