Statement	The following 7T MRI sequences appear to have capabilities (specific use in parentheses) for both clinical care and research in MS: MP2RAGE or ME-MPRAGE with B₁ correction (atrophy, segmentation, white and GM lesions) 3D FLAIR (WM and GM lesion identification and segmentation) Whole-brain 3D multi-echo, gradient echo (ME-GRE) [PRL, CVS, quantitative mapping (i.e. R₂,* χ)]. 2D multi-slab SE or ME GRE (GM lesions, CVS, PRL)
Recommendation	Industry and academia should collaborate to standardize the above sequences, achieve clinically feasible scan times and provide streamlined post-processing in real time.
