Table 1.

Criteria of response and non-response in ocular inflammatory diseases

Uveitis
New active or worsening inflammatory lesions relative to baseline
Anterior chamber cell count is ≤ 0.5+
Vitreous Haze is ≤ 0.5+
Worsening of BCVA by ≥ 15 letters relative to best state achieved
New/worsening leakage in the fluorescence angiography
Increased macular thickness in the optical coherence tomography
Scleritis [15]
Grade 0: no scleral inflammation with complete blanching of vessels
Grade 0.5+: trace inflammation with minimally dilated deep episcleral vessels
Grade 1+: mild scleral inflammation with diffuse mild dilation of deep episcleral vessels
Grade 2+: moderate scleral inflammation with tortuous and engorged deep episcleral vessels
Grade 3+: severe scleral inflammation with diffuse significant redness of sclera ± obscuration of deep episcleral vessels with edema and erythema
Grade 4+: necrotizing scleritis with or without uveal show
