Total SS activity in leaves
SS activity was measured in units of μmol min−1 mg−1 protein ± se for equivalent amounts of protein from wild-type, Atss3-1, and Atss3-2 leaves. These values were determined by quantifying the incorporation of radiolabeled Glc from 14C-ADPG into acid-precipitable polysaccharide. Values were obtained from the indicated numbers of samples.
