Participant inclusion criteria.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Receiving outpatient mental healthcare through an EMHS Community Mental Health Service (CMHS)

  • Aged 18 to 65 years (inclusive)

  • Moderate to severe depression based on Patient Health Questionnaire 4,5 (PHQ-9) score > 10

  • No, low, or moderate suicide and/or violence risk

  • No active psychosis

  • Allocated to either Intervention or Intervention Plus study groups in the Co-HIVE pilot RCT 6
