Sequences and 5′ nucleotide designation are from GenBank accession no. M55115. S, sense strand; A, antisense strand. Tm are based on concentrations of 50 nM for limiting primers and 1,000 nM for excess primers. Primers CF396 S25 and CP398 S23 gave similar results, which are combined in Table 2.
