Detection of nuclear VP22 in nocodazole-treated V49 cells. VP22-expressing V49 cells (A to C) and Vero cells (D to F), which do not express VP22, were treated with 0.5 μg of nocodazole per ml for 20 h. Cells were fixed and stained for indirect immunofluorescence with anti-α-tubulin (A and D) and anti-VP22 (B and E) antibodies. DNA was stained with Hoechst dye (C and F).
