Levels of σ54 in an hp0958:aphA3 mutant that overproduced σ54 from a PureA-rpoN allele (hp0958:aphA3/hp0405:PureA-rpoN) and its parental strain (hp0405:PureA-rpoN) were analyzed by Western blotting at various times following the addition of tetracycline.
