The 12F and B and 18B and C patterns could not be discriminated using in silico data, since digests with HinfI were very similar. No in silico data were available for serotype 25F. “Confirmed” identifies patterns confirmed by in silico data (where available). Alignments were produced using Bionumerics software (Applied Maths).
