Effects of central pretreatment with SR95531 (a GABAA receptor antagonist, a) or SCH50911 (a GABAB receptor antagonist, b) on CORM‐3‐induced intercontraction interval (ICI) prolongation. Data were calculated as a ratio to baseline values during the −30 to 0 min period before central administration of CORM‐3. SR95531 (SR, 0.1 nmol/rat), SCH50911 (SCH, 0.1 nmol/rat), or vehicle (saline, 10 μL/rat) was intracerebroventricularly (ICV) pretreated 30 min before the central administration of CORM‐3 (10 nmol/rat, ICV). The Vehicle + CORM‐3 group is the same in (a) and (b). Values are means ± standard error of the mean. *p < 0.05, when compared to an unpaired Student's t‐test to the Vehicle + CORM‐3 group. # p < 0.05, when values were compared with ANOVA followed by post hoc analysis with the Bonferroni method to values prior to CORM‐3 administration (−30 to 0 min).
