aReliable improvement was defined by meeting at least one of the following criteria: (1) ≥4-point decrease on the final GAD-7 among those with baseline GAD-7 score of ≥8 and (2) ≥6-point decrease on the final PHQ-9 among those with baseline PHQ-9 score of ≥10. Recovery was defined by meeting at least one of the following criteria: (1) final GAD-7 score of <8 among those with baseline GAD-7 score of ≥8 and (2) final PHQ-9 score of <10 among those with baseline score of ≥10.
