Experimental scheme of this study. The EV fraction from pre‐ and postoperative sera was purified using SEC in 44 patients with PDAC. ACA‐positive and CD9‐positive EVs were then measured using the ExoCounter. The ACA‐positive EV counts from pre‐ and postoperative samples were normalized to the CD9‐positive EV counts from the same sample. We evaluated the changes in ACA‐positive EVs between pre‐ and postoperative PDAC sera, classifying them into the postoperative ACA‐positive EV elevation group (Group 1) and the decline group (Group 2). Prognostic analyses, including overall survival and recurrence‐free survival, were conducted for these two groups.
