One-minute long observation of labeled DNA. Combed DNA molecules with two biotin-modified extremities were stained with YOYO-1 and visualized using streptavidin QD 605. A 1 min movie was recorded using a long pass filter. Images are shown every 10 s. YOYO-1 stained DNA molecules (arrows) tend to disappear and cannot be visualized after a few tens of seconds.
