Among the 26 ST8-MRSA-IV isolates, four of the isolates were from nasal swab samples, i.e., the nursing home staff (n = 2), the hospital staff (n = 1), and from a nursing home patient (n = 1).

Among the ST80-MRSA-IV isolates, two isolates were from nasal swab samples. They were from a hospital patient and an outpatient.
