The second rosette leaf from a 21-day-old drp5b plant accumulating the chloroplast stroma marker RBCS-mRFP was incubated in sugar-free solution in darkness for time-lapse imaging. Arrowhead indicates a chloroplast bud. Images acquired every 1 s are displayed at 20 frames/s. Scale bar, 5 µm. Green, RBCS-mRFP; magenta, chlorophyll fluorescence.
