The patient was rapidly referred to percutaneous angiographic treatment. True non-contrast imaging (d) may be replaced by virtual non-contrast reconstructions (e) in the evaluation of subcapsular hematoma avoiding unnecessary scans without contrast medium during post-embolization follow-up.
