Irregular bilateral wide-amplitude high-amplitude slow waves emerge, which are intermixed with non-rhythmic and asynchronous spiky waves. Lower left: Case 1 (at 770 days old). The EEG displays predominantly low to moderate amplitude theta waves. The occurrence of interictal epileptiform discharges has been significantly reduced. Upper right: Case 2 (at 269 days old).
