A) The Nampt-NAD1-sirtuin 1 cascade improves post-ischemic vascular repair by modulating Notch signaling in endothelial progenitor cells. MiR-190b alleviates neuronal apoptosis and BBB damage by up-regulating the expression of B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl2) and down-regulating the expression of pro-inflammatory factors. MiR-837a-5p regulates microglial polarization in damaged neurons to reduce neuroinflammation. B) M2 microglia-derived miR-137 reduces behavioral deficits and infarct areas by inhibiting Notch1 signaling in neurons.
