Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging with T1 and T2 mapping shows increased T2 [FISP] mapping values (black arrows) in the basal and mid-LV septal walls, basal-to-mid anterior, basal-to-mid anterolateral, and basal-to-mid inferior walls, with more pronounced changes in mid-LV segments, indicating the presence of edema/inflammation. No LV/RV thrombus was identified in the early phase after gadolinium administration. There is no late gadolinium enhancement.
